1. Service description

AudioNotes is an audio transcription and AI-powered structured note generation platform. AudioNotes is not an electronic health record system, a professional advisory service, or a substitute for professional judgment.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account and using AudioNotes, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
• You must provide accurate and current registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

4. Your obligations

• Recording consent: you are responsible for complying with all applicable federal and state recording consent laws. In some states, all parties to a conversation must consent to being recorded. By using the recording feature, you represent that you have obtained all required consents.
• Lawful use: do not record or process illegal, defamatory, threatening, or infringing content.
• Review AI content: review and validate all AI-generated transcriptions and notes before use.
• Professional compliance: comply with all professional and legal obligations applicable to your field.

5. Plans and pricing

Prices shown exclude applicable taxes.

6. Billing and auto-renewal

• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• By subscribing, you expressly consent to automatic recurring charges.
• You will receive a confirmation email with renewal terms and cancellation instructions.
• We will notify you at least 7 days before any price increase.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

8. AI-generated content — Disclaimer

Transcriptions and structured notes are automatically generated by AI models. Generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, does not constitute professional advice of any kind, and must be reviewed by you before use. AudioNotes is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content without proper review.

9. Limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUDIONOTES AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AudioNotes from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable laws.

11. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your content. AudioNotes retains rights to the platform, brand, and algorithms. We do not use your content to train AI models. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for providing the service.

12. DMCA

If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated DMCA agent at dmca@audionotes.one including: identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing material and its location, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
